Attention: Avery County Teens

Do you need a winter getaway day to have fun and hang with your friends? Come spend a fun-filled day with fellow teens from 22 different counties in Western N.C. The 2022 West District Teen Retreat will be on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, N.C. At this retreat, you will get to enhance your leadership and life skills, explore nature in the great outdoors, build electric projects, make crafts, etc.

Additional information:

  • Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the retreat will conclude by 6:00 p.m.
  • The registration fee per person is $60 and includes all workshops and materials, two meals, swag, and an awesome tee shirt designed by your district officers!
  • All participants must be registered in NC 4-H Online
  • Transportation to and from the retreat is available through Avery County 4-H.
  • Scholarships are available – Please contact Bobbie Willard, Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development, at (828)733-8270.
