With vegetable gardens starting to flourish around the county, Mr. Bill Hoffman, Area Extension Agent- ANR, taught two groups of youth about planting and tending to a garden. The two groups planted a variety of vegetables and learned about plant health and nutrition. The food grown in these beds will later be donated to a local food bank.
