2022 4-H Enrollment Open NOW!

N.C. Cooperative Extension-Avery County Center is excited to start off our new 4-H year which officially began on January 1, 2022!! In order to continue as a 4-H member/volunteer or submit a new enrollment for the 2022 year and participate in any 4-H activities or events, you must complete an application through 4HOnline 2.0. Please see the PDFs below for instructions on how to enroll (for new members) or re-enroll through 4HOnline.

NEW MEMBERS:  If this is your first time enrolling in the 4-H program, please see the PDF called “Family 4-H Guide.”  You will need a family profile in order to submit new 4-H member and volunteer applications. Once your family profile is set up, please submit a 4-H member enrollment for each child in your family.

RETURNING 4-H MEMBERS:  If you were enrolled in the 4-H program in 2021, you can simply log in to 4HOnline 2.0, review your information, make necessary changes, and complete your insurance and medical information to re-enroll. You should be able to re-enroll in less than 5 minutes…yay!!! For instructions on re-enrolling 4-H members for 4-H, please visit: 4honline Member Reenroll

VOLUNTEERS:   All volunteers must complete this process as well. Those volunteers who have not had a background screening through the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Avery County center in the last 3 years, will need to complete that process in addition to submitting an updated volunteer application. Information regarding the screening process will be provided to you upon receiving your application renewal through 4HOnline 2.0. Volunteer profiles will take 20 – 25 minutes which includes the annual required training video. For instructions on enrolling as a 4-H Volunteer, please visit: 4honline Volunteer Reenroll._2022pdf

Please note that effective January 1, 2022, only youth members and 4-H volunteers who are enrolled in 4-HOnline 2.0 will be considered active members and / or certified 4-H volunteers. Active status will be required for individuals to participate in 4-H member activities, events, programs, 4-H trips as well as for participation as a 4-H volunteer leader.

If you have any questions or need assistance with this process, please contact Bobbie Willard, Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development at N.C. Cooperative Extension-Avery County Center at 828-733-8270 or email bobbie_willard@ncsu.edu.
