Overview
Attendees will learn how to protect and improve the natural environment of streams by stabilizing a streambank. NC State University and other local experts will provide practical, cost-effective solutions using natural materials and native plants to create healthy, stable streambanks and repair small-scale repairs.
This is a free workshop, but we ask that you register so we know how many are coming. This is a stream-side, hands-on 3-hour workshop.
NOTE: No classroom instruction or certification options will be provided. You are welcome to pack your own snacks and drinks.
You will receive hands-on instruction covering streambank repair using natural materials and native live stakes and plants.
This is a FREE non-certification workshop.
