2018 Avery County 4-H Summer W.O.W. Program

The Avery 4-H Staff is excited to kick-off another EDUCATIONAL AND FUN SUMMER PROGRAM!!!! The program serves youth between the ages of 5 and 13; 5-YEAR-OLD YOUTH MUST HAVE COMPLETED KINDERGARTEN IN ORDER TO ATTEND.

The program is housed at the Newland Elementary School, Monday thru Friday, from 7:30 am-5:30 pm. Transportation is provided from select sites in the county.

Each participant has their choice of two activities each day; Monday and Friday are CLUB DAYS. The staff take pride in coordinating and teaching the activities. Most of the planned activities have a time during the day for swimming!

The 4-H W.O.W. Program is a licensed program through the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education.

Below you will find the registration packet. The packet includes the daily program descriptions and the daily registration form. Please complete and return to the Avery County Cooperative Extension Center at 805 Cranberry Street, Newland.
